WHITE NIGHTS

Paris, vu du 26, or ‘Paris, as seen from number 26’ is a love letter to Paris, and specifically the cobbled streets and awe-inspiring monuments located near 26 Place Vendôme, where Boucheron has its home. Rid of cliché, this collection shows Paris the way Parisians see it: a subtle work of art, encompassing the history and innovation the city is known for. A short walk from Place Vendôme is the Opéra Garnier, one of the most dazzling landmarks in the city. Inspired by the equine sculptures that cover the facade of the building, the jewellers at Boucheron have created a horse-shaped bracelet set, made from frozen quartz and baguette diamonds, and paved with diamonds on yellow gold, with an equally dramatic ring to match. Across the Seine from Place Vendôme is the Grand Palais – the iconic home to incredible art exhibitions, fashion shows and glamorous soirees. Boucheron has remade its green dome with the Verrière set – a heavy, swinging tassel of blown glass beads, complete with matching emerald earrings. The Pavés de Cristal necklace is inspired by Paris just after the rain, when the light reflects off the cobblestones of Place Vendôme, so they appear almost white. This led to an extraordinary sculptural necklace made from a pear diamond, baguette diamonds and rock crystal, and paved with diamonds, on white gold.
