British Airways A350-1000 Club Suite business class LONDON-DUBAI

The A350 cabin is bright and the overhead lockers have been designed so there’s plenty of headroom

BACKGROUND This was the inaugural Heathrow-Dubai flight for British Airways’ A350-1000, which features the carrier’s new Club Suite business class seating. I had previously flown on the aircraft to Madrid but this was the opportunity to experience the product on a long-haul, seven-hour service. BA has ordered 18 A350-1000s, to arrive by 2022. It has 331 seats – 219 economy, 56 premium economy and 56 business class. Much of the long-haul fleet will eventually get the new seats, although it isn’t going to happen quickly.

I arrived at Heathrow T5 at 0945 for my 1250 departure on BA107. Check-in was swift
