Southern Home (SH): How do your roots in Mississippi influence your decorating today?
Meg Braff (MB): There’s a certain graciousness in the South that is really special. It’s everything from manners to a way of doing things to being a good listener, all of which are important in decorating. I want my rooms to be welcoming and approachable, not pretentious and definitely not ostentatious. In the South, people love pretty spaces, but they also love comfort.

MB:Exuberant, colorful, timeless.
