Just seeing a Formula 1 racing car at 300 km/h is a shock to the system. It’s not just the noise (which is like nothing else), but the sheer physicality of something travelling so fast… that first experience shakes you to the core and, to be honest, you never really get used to it. And it’s not just the straight line speed either, but the cornering… these things literally sling-shot around bends and you constantly marvel that they manage (most of the time) to stay on track.
