There is a magnificent collection of Canadian hotels that stretches from Newfoundland to British Columbia, all linked by a ribbon of steel that has tied these glorious retreats together for more than a century as the Canadian Pacific Railway delivered guests from across the globe to their front doors. The idea of grand railway excursions was the vision of Canadian Pacific’s first president, William Cornelius Van Horne.
