    Introduced in 1961 as a replacement for the Les Paul, the SG (or ‘Solid Guitar’) quickly became iconic, known for its low frets and fast action. Designed with a double cutaway, the lightweight wonder was adopted by top players like Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend, Angus Young, and countless others as the preferred option for live and studio work. Based on the 1962 SG, fitted with two humbuckers, and ‘aged’ fingerboard, the G-400 is the arguably one of the best value guitars available today.
