NAMM 2019 LOUDER THAN LIFE

KEMPER

Kemper’s big news for 2019 is the Kemper Kabinet, a combination of the new Kemper Kone 12-inch speaker made by Celestion and special tone-mining technology that makes it possible to imprint various speaker characteristics onto one cabinet.

Madonna/Prong guitarist Monte Pittman was on-hand to demo the Kabinet, which is designed specifically to work with Kemper profilers. It’s able to switch between full-range and guitar modes, and the Speaker Imprint Mode is designed specifically to give you a great ‘amp in the room’ sound, rather than substituting the miked cabinet simulations of a profile.

Kemper is planning an active version of the cabinet as well, and will offer the Kemper Kone as a replacement speaker for any regular cabinet that can hold a 12-inch speaker.
