    A few issues ago we crowned the 16-core AMD Ryzen 3950X paired with an Nvidia Quadro RTX graphics card as the current all-round best recommendation for a desktop rendering specification. And that recommendation has not changed, even after testing a workstation with a 32-core Threadripper processor, one with an Intel processor and both new AMD and Nvidia graphics cards.
