Aloha. I live on the Big Island of Hawai‘i and have been kayak fishing for the past eight years. When I go kayak fishing, I like to be out on the water one hour before sunrise to catch akule around the harbor. One day, I headed straight out to where I thought the ‘opelu would be at daybreak.
