SKINNY WATER MINK

Ask any trapper what species of animal they are targeting on their traplines and you are likely to get one of the two answers from the majority of them; raccoons or coyotes. This is understandable because of each furbearers’ high populations across most of the country. But, I don’t know if anyone has ever told me that mink were the trapline targets. Of course, their population numbers might not be as high as the two above-mentioned critters, but they are definitely out there for the catching — if you know where to look.
