Heritage and History with Chad Hawk

This month’s Q&A guest is Chad Hawk, a Grading Finalizer with PMG. Hawk joined Paper Money Guaranty (PMG) in 2005 as a Grader and was later promoted to a Grading Finalizer role. Mr. Hawk is the most senior Grading Finalizer within PMG’s paper money grading team. He is the final authority on PMG’s grading standards and is also responsible for maintaining the standards of the other Graders of the team.

As a Grading Finalizer, Mr. Hawk is responsible for, among other matters, determining the authenticity of a note and evaluating its condition using the Sheldon grading scale and in accordance with PMG standards. In addition of these responsibilities, Mr. Hawk provides significant training
