How to Assemble a Boot Top

Pick chosen leather and spread out. Gather patterns for the vamp, boot top (front and back), collars (if used), counter cover and side strips or pull tabs.
Powder around templates and cut with scalpel along the powder line. Repeat the same process for all other templates.
Skive the boot top on the top with 1/8" wide skive, about half the thickness, and bottom edges 5/8" wide
