HOLDEN COMMODORE FROM $35,490

Holden’s extremely aggressive pricing on the VF Commodore range, including regular drive away deals, are obvious indicators that it wants to keep the car competitive until its demise in 2017.

The VF Commodore sedan range opens with the 3.0-litre V6/six-speed automatic Evoke, priced at $35,490.

The Evoke Sportwagon costs $37,490. The same $2000 premium applies to all Sportwagons over their sedan equivalents.

The SV6 3.6-litre V6/six-speed manual sedan is $36,490; the sixspeed auto SV6 is $38,690.

Evoke sedan is also available with VE’s 3.6-litre V6 dedicated LPG system, which carries a $2500 price premium over the petrol-powered equivalent.

The Calais, with the same 3.6-litre V6/six-speed auto drivetrain as SV6, is priced at $40,490. Calais V is $47,490 and the Calais V 6.0-litre
