Czech brand Skoda’s Karoq mid-size SUV shares its structure, and most hardware, with parent company VW’s Tiguan, but there are significant differences as well.
Karoq, which replaces the Yeti, is priced at $29,990 for the 1.5-litre turbopetrol four-cylinder/six-speed manual/front-wheel-drive 110TSI.
That’s $2000 less than the base Tiguan 110TSI Trendline manual, which runs Golf’s 1.4-litre turbopetrol. Both engines produce identical power and torque — 110kW and 250Nm — at the same rpm
