POOL TILES TO STAND THE TEST OF TIME
During my years working in the tiling industry, I have visited suburbs all over Sydney to offer design advice for pool renovations. Time and time again, I have visited pools with designs that were popular in the ‘70s, ‘80s and early ‘90s, which have failed. Some of the projects I visited left vivid memories of the early stages of the evolving pool tiling industry.
When I think of these old pools, I get a mental image of a light-green water colour resulting from a deteriorating lining that covered the interior of the pool and also flowed over the raised coping.
