    WHAT IT MEANS In IUI, the man’s sperm is introduced into the woman’s uterus through a tube.

    WHO SHOULD OPT FOR IT

    * Women having cervical mucus problems

    * Men having antibodies to sperm

    * Men who cannot ejaculate into their partner’s vagina

    * Men suffering from retrograde ejaculation

    PROCEDURE The IUI is done either when ovulation is imminent or just after. The man masturbates into a clean jar after at least three days of sexual abstinence to get optimal sperm counts.
