“IT WILL BE A WET RACE! MAYBE!” was resounded all over the paddocks after qualifying ended on Saturday at Le Mans Circuit in France. Throughout the session across all classes the weather kept changing, forcing teams to scurry around in preparation for whatever may be.

The action at Le Mans started from Q1 itself. It saw the entire grid come out on wet tyres, except for one racer. He took a gamble and started on slicks as a major part of the track was still dry. The gamble paid off and this tactic ended
