EVERY YEAR, RIDERS from across the world gather to take part in what is considered to be one of the most treacherous rally races of all time. The Dakar Rally is the ultimate test of endurance that tests a rider’s mental, physical, and emotional capabilities. This year, the Dakar Rally took place in Saudi Arabia for the very first time. The Dakar Rally started in 1978 and took place from Paris, France, to Dakar, Senegal. Due to security reasons in 2008, the Dakar Rally was cancelled for the first time, after which the 2009 and 2019 editions took place
