Task 3 Rainbow

Be a pop of colour

BY SUE PLUMB, QLD

Materials: Paper – Cocoa Vanilla Studio; Embellishments – Cocoa Vanilla Studio flair button, wood veneer word, resin star, enamel dots, cotton thread, typed journaling, paint sample cards.

“I was aiming for a clean, linear look for this layout, so I decided to use paint sample cards that I picked up from the hardware store in place of traditional patterned papers. The sample cards had the look I was after, and certainly displayed a rainbow of colours. I chose to keep the photos black and white, to help the colours from the cards pop; and I also kept the embellishments to a minimum as the page was busy enough with all the photos.”
