IT WOULD be remiss this month to write about anything other than the tragedy that has hit our country, especially considering truck drivers are among the worst affected and those heroically stepping up to help. From all of us at the Transport Workers Union (TWU), thanks and congratulations to the exemplary transport workers who have volunteered their time to bravely fight fires, as well as the truckies helping deliver vital supplies to the worst affected areas, many of whom are doing so at a cost to themselves.
