Trial by Combat

SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES (SUV) ARE AMONG the most sought-after styles of vehicles today and in a way understandably so. Versatility is the key here, with a slight adventurous tone mixed with life in the big city. The SUV segment has never been as vast as it is today. Choices range from the small hatchbacks on stilts such as the Honda WR-V to brands such as the raging bull Lamborghini with the Rs 3-crore Urus or the aristocrats’ favourite, Rolls Royce Cullinan, priced very reasonably in the Rs 7-crore region. Either way, there is something for everyone and here we are going to look at one of the SUV segments — the cut-throat mid-sized crossover segment in India.
