RINGING IN THE CHANGES

DRIVING THROUGH THE SMALL COUNTY OF KERRY IN IRELAND — along its famous Ring of Kerry, a picturesque circular driving route known the world over for its incredible vistas — was a bit of a daunting undertaking. The lanes were narrow, the views on offer were so beautiful that they constantly drew the eye away from the tarmac, there was the constant threat of encroaching animals from the farms along the route, and I was driving a left-hand-drive car (the fleet of press test SUVs were brought in from Germany) on a right-hand-drive road. And it isn’t like the Q7 is a compact little hatch either.
