WINTERISING YOUR SOLAR EQUIPMENT

The end of daylight saving is our cue to think about winterising the motorhome or caravan. The lengths we need to go to will depend upon which part of the country we live in, whether the vehicle will be under cover or outside, and if we have any plans to use it over the winter months.

Winterising an RV is a common practice in many countries, but we do not have the very harsh winter conditions that many RVers in Europe and North America experience. Nonetheless, there is still lots we can do. Winter is also a good time to tend to maintenance issues, upgrades, and any modifications we may wish may make.
