The five-seater Captiva 5 LT with front-wheel drive is available with a 2.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, with 123kW of power and 230Nm of torque. Transmission choices are six-speed manual at $26,490 or automatic, at $28,690. LT-Z auto is $31,690.

The Captiva 5 also offers a 2.2-litre turbodiesel option with 135kW and 400Nm, only with the automatic all-wheel drivetrain, priced at $32,690 for LT and $35,690 for LT-Z.

Both of these engines, plus the 3.0-litre direct injection petrol V6 as used in the Commodore (also with E85 ethanol compatibility), are also offered in the seven-seater Captiva 7.

The base Captiva 7 LS is front-wheel drive with either the 2.4-litre petrol ($30,490) or 2.2-litre turbodiesel ($33,490), both
