HOW MUCH?
The Cherokee range starts at $33,500 for the front-wheel-drive (FWD) 2.4-litre, four-cylinder petrol Sport.
At $39,000, the Longitude (called Latitude in northern hemisphere markets), swaps the four-cylinder for a 3.2-litre V6 petrol and adds four-wheel drive (4WD).
Cherokee Blackhawk, with black trim everywhere, black 18-inch alloys and upgraded infotainment, is $41,000.
The Limited variant shares the Longitude’s drivetrain and weighs in at $44,000. The off-road focused Trailhawk is $47,500.
A 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbodiesel Limited is $49,000.
All models are equipped with a new, nine-speed automatic transmission.
