ARCHERY'S OLYMPIC PROFILE INCREASES AT DAKAR GAMES 2022

The number of archers that will compete at the next Youth Olympic Games is set to increase by 50% to a total of 96. Held in Senegal, Dakar 2022 will be the first Olympic event to take place in Africa.

64 athletes competed at each of the first three editions of the YOG in Singapore, Nanjing and Buenos Aires. At Dakar 2022, 48 boys and 48 girls aged between 14 and 17 will compete in the archery events.
