Sightmark hits the spot

Sightmark’s new Wraith is a compact digital day/night riflescope offering 24/7 capability to your rifle from a 1920x1080 HD sensor. Starting out mounting to the rifle, the Wraith is supplied with an underside Picatinny mounting clamp with twin screws to lock it on to a Picatinny rail. The rail on this test unit was short, but by the time this article is published, a longer extended version will have become available, so don’t worry about the looks of my mounting solutions on the rifles photographed – they were necessarily over-complicated.

Mounted to the rifle, the next step is to add four AA batteries into the left compartment, securely stored under a rubber gasketed seal. They promise a 4-5 hour runtime; as always, the quality of the batteries you use will be key to this.
