NEW NATION’S FAVOURITE SHOOTING GROUND CROWNED

Auchterhouse is the Nation’s Favourite Shooting Ground 2020 after Clay Shooting magazine revealed the results of its annual poll.

For so long it was a case of ‘always the bridesmaid, never the bride’ where Auchterhouse was concerned. Second and third in the poll were regular achievements for the Scottish ground, but never the number one spot.

No longer – Auchterhouse finally broke its curse and won the overall crown for the first time since the vote began nine years ago.

The announcement in Clay Shooting magazine said: “It was a close vote – maybe our closest ever – but after triple-checking and verification of the numbers, we can confirm that Auchterhouse is number one.
