What’s hot in foxing

suppose it would be fair to say that we are entering a somewhat quieter time of year as far as fox control is concerned. I know that after a particularly busy start to the new year, which at the same time brings the mating season for foxes to an end, things become a little quieter – for a while at least. Vixens, in particular, keep a lower profile until eventually the demands of the growing cubs dictate that they must set to and start hunting activities once again. This fresh activity also heralds another busy time for us as raids on poultry and other forms of livestock increase. I take no pleasure in removing the parents from their cubs at this time, but needs must when damage is being done. However, I do try to locate exactly where the litter is before removing the adults.
