SPIN ON RSD 2019

There was a hint of the bittersweet about Record Store Day this year. Rainbow Records (see photo above), Spin Cycle’s home-away-from-home when it comes to RSD, is about to vacate the building where it’s stood for the past 40 years and relocate to the other end of Main Street. It’s only half a mile away, but still it’s sad to see a local landmark move, and we weren’t the only ones who felt that the old space’s final RSD deserved a special farewell.

The store had not even closed on Friday night than the first RSD shoppers were camped outside... literally ; they even brought a tent.
