China To Issue New Coins And Notes

August 30 has been set as the date on which the Peoples’ Bank of China will issue its new fifth series of coins and bank notes.

As might be expected the Chinese central bank is keeping most of the details of the changes close to the vest. It has been announced that the major design elements will not change, but there will be “some minor adjustments.”
