How did VERSA start?

eepend Melbourne Pty Ltd was founded by Kath Blackham in 2010. Kath hadn’t worked in an agency previously and was keen to try a new way of working with clients and staff, which encouraged a more innovative way of thinking with better staff retention and happier clients. The agency grew to become one of Australia’s largest independent digital experience and design agencies, going on to win Employer of Agency of the Year Awards. In 2017, Kath Blackham saw an opportunity on the horizon in the voice technology space. The space was already growing rapidly throughout the US and Europe. So, she launched, VERSA, Australia’s first enterprise level voice and conversational design agency to take advantage of such a huge opportunity. VERSA quickly established itself as a pioneering and innovative force in the developing voice market, creating bespoke solutions across all devices including Google Home and Amazon Alexa.
