It’s quite the debate at present — ownership versus streaming. Do we keep copies of our music and movies, either as physical discs or as files, or do we abandon convention and live our lives entirely on subscription? The answer, of course, is neither one nor the other — most of us will continue to do both for the foreseeable future.
How do you store and serve up your movie and music collection? Loading discs into players around the home is starting to seem rather 20th century. The dream would be one of those fancy media servers which serves up your media with snazzy graphic interfaces and networking around the home. But of course those cost thousands and thousands of dollars. Or do they?
