Taiwan – Australia Indigenous Artist in Residence

unique cultural exchange is set to take place between two First Nations arts practitioners as part of a new collaboration between Artback NT, Alice Springs and the Indigenous Peoples Cultural Development Centre, Taiwan. Janet Kalidjan Marawarr and Aulu Tjibulangan are the recipients of the 2019 Taiwan – Australia Indigenous Artist in Residence program. The artists will cross borders to undertake a six-week residency in the other’s country to further develop their artistic practices, they will draw upon new knowledge and ideas gained through interaction with the art forms and cultural customs practiced in these destinations and
