SPARK NT Curator

In this issue, we congratulate writer, activist and arts worker Carmen Ansaldo as SPARK NT Curator for Artback NT’s 2019/2020 program. The initiative supports an independent or emerging curator, residing in the Northern Territory, to develop an exhibition project for touring in the region.

In her research, Ansaldo examines the intersection between visual arts and political engagement with a focus on First Nations art practices and remote and regional arts development. And, engages in collaborative discussion with artists, activists and community members.
