IT’S AT TIME of year, when sport hunters are planning their 2020 hunting season itineraries. With the economy as i is, most people are finding that they have less disposable income, and choosing a hunt can put us in a qua y. If you want a budget-friendly but quality hunting experience, think Eastern Cape.

Trophy wise, the region offers about thirty-one different species, and that’s not including dangerous game species. When I was still a PH/outfitter, most clients I guided in the Eastern Cape opted for short hunts varying between 7 and 10 days, though five-day packages were also popular. These days, when it comes to planning your hunt, the biggest hurdle is time.
