Moving constantly between countries may be a disruptive experience, but not for Katja Gaskell. After a childhood spent shifting between international cities, Gaskell naturally became a travel writer, writing for Mr & Mrs Smith and other global publications.
Her penchant for migration never ceased. After meeting her husband Nick Panes, the pair packed up and left for Australia in 2006, where Gaskell pursued her masters in journalism at the University of Technology in Sydney.
