“I bought it as a car to do up and use. In those days we weren’t too flush for money, so if you could buy a car cheaper that needed work and you could do it up yourself, you just did it,” explains Ray Cheevers, the man who built this car in 1969 and who, along with son Spencer, has recently rescued and restored it back to its glam rock glory.
