Imported franchises
A new wave of franchises is flocking to the country, which has for decades been home to international fast food chains, cosmetics brands, and fashion houses. Investors still see room for international brands to grow in the market. The newly introduced franchises are expanding rapidly.
AN APPEALING MARKET
Several American and European brands, especially from Turkey, France, and Italy, have entered the market over the last five years. The cosmetics and beauty sector has seen a number of new franchise entrants such as Flormar, and Wycon. Many new clothing brands have entered the market recently, such as LC Waikiki, Soobe, D’S Damat, U.S. Polo Assn., Penti, Celio, Yargici, Koton, and Devred, Chairman of the Lebanese Franchise Association (LFA).
