New exemptions on tax fines
In a bid to boost budget revenues, the tax authorities are offering a discount of 85 percent on penalties charged on tax arrears and on late or false tax declarations in the 2019 budget law. Taxpayers can benefit from the deductions if they settle the overdue taxes and the related reduced fines by the end of the current year. The budget law also grants other tax exemptions for some categories of jobs and activities.
