I KNEW I WANTED TO BE A DESIGNER WHEN...

I remember constantly rearranging my room when I was little, draping fabric and styling shelves, so I suppose it’s always been a natural part of my life. I spent the first few years out of school working in construction, building industrial, concrete tilt-panel warehouses which developed my strange love for concrete and, event styling and PR – but I have always had a love of design, particularly furniture. Al comes from a mechanical and fabrication background, crazy things like custom motorbike builds and film and television creations. When we couldn’t find a coffee table, we combined our skills and aesthetics and, voila, fifteenthirtyeight was immaculately conceived.
