I’d gotten into playing bass when I was asked to join a band in high school. The only position left was that of bass player, so I went out with my dad and bought my first bass. vinyl. I think I wore both of them out in about a month: Listening to Mark King and Geezer Butler really opened my ears to what you could do with a bass.
