Jersey Shore TURNS 10!
IT’S hard to believe that 10 years ago the phenomenon that is Jersey Shore premiered on MTV, introducing us to stars like Snooki, The Situation, JWoww, Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino, while pushing the boundaries of reality television.
The debut episode brought in 1.3-million viewers, many of whom were shocked at the chaos that ensued on the show; but we all grew to love the cast despite (or, perhaps more truthfully, ) their antics, run for a good five seasons, drawing in, at its peak, about 9-million people an episode. So if you, like us, are feeling a little nostalgic for the years of gym, tan and laundry, read on, as we dig up 10 of the series’ little-known titbits in honour of its being a presence on our screens for a decade.
