RENÉE ZELLWEGER: ‘I COULD NEVER HAVE DREAMED OF THIS’

THE Hollywood actress admits she was terrified at the prospect of playing late Wizard Of Oz star Judy Garland but going back on her early intention of turning down the opportunity has proved to be a golden moment in her colourful career.

The result is a Best Actress Academy Award win for Judy, a movie set around Garland’s ill-fated concert tour to London in 1969 in what turned out to be her last public appearance before her death, at the age of just 47, from a drug overdose.
