GOOD MORNING G-LAND!
The worst wipeout of my life happened on the morning of June 3rd, 1995.
I had been up until the early hours celebrating with Rob Bain, who had just beaten Kelly Slater and Tom Carroll in a late round of the inaugural G-Land Pro. We were drinking with our “Tsunami Brothers” Shane Herring, Simon Law and Richie Lovett on the one-year anniversary of the tsunami we had survived together in the very same place.
