I’d been away for so long that’d I’d forgotten where I was even from. Born in one little surf town in the north, moved to a surf town in the south to go to little school. When the waves and girls were deemed too much of a distraction, I was shipped miles inland to a private school, away from the ocean. It was pure hell.
