A LUXE MALDIVIAN ESCAPE
The Indian Ocean is glittering beneath a tropical sun as we travel south from Male to LUX* South Ari Atoll, a luxury resort on the island of Dhidhoofinolhu in the Maldives.
A 25-minute seaplane flight later, we descend towards the atoll, landing on crystal-clear water next to the resort. On the wharf at least eight staff members wave us in – a signature welcome ritual at LUX* resorts.
After confirming our bags have made the flight with us, we’re handed a wet towel and taken inside to the open-air reception space where we’re told to relax.
