PEACE, LOVE AND VW BUSES...

August 1969, a 250-hectare farm near the city of Woodstock (a two-hour drive from New York City) hosted a music festival that marked a generation. The most famous singers/bands of the time followed one another on the stage in front of hundreds of thousands of spectators. For three days, Woodstock celebrated ‘peace and music’. Magazines and newspapers eagerly covered the event, some photos showing a Kombi dressed in a singular paint by an artist based on the east coast, Bob Hieronimus.
