Ghosts from the past
Ace researchers on the mag, Stephen and Beverley Hardy, always enjoyed raking up info about oddball or prototype models produced by Wolfsburg and its worldwide empire. In the Dec ‘84 issue, to round off a series on VW convertibles, they reported on what were two of the company’s most attractive models – at least, they would have been, had they ever entered production.
