Since the mid-1980s, the month of June has hosted some of Southern California’s most popular Volkswagen events, with one weekend in particular becoming legendary. North America’s best car builders typically unveil their latest project cars for the occasion, in hope of bringing home one of the coveted awards. It revolved for years around the VW Classic; however, as the latter called it quits in 2019, the long-running Bug-In has de-facto turned into the prime destination for the real top cars.
